Why

Empower GRIT?

Modern life constantly asks us to do more — more work, more commitments, more responsibilities. Over time, that pressure can quietly push people into survival mode, where simply getting through the day can feel like too much.

Empower GRIT is built on a different belief: resilience doesn’t come from pushing harder. It comes from creating space — space to breathe, think clearly, and reconnect with what actually matters.

By learning to do less of what doesn’t belong and more of what truly adds value, people can move out of survival mode and into lives that feel steadier, healthier, and more aligned.

No one should have to stay stuck in survival mode.

When we don’t have space—mentally or physically—it’s hard to think clearly, make decisions, or move forward in a way that actually feels aligned.

This work is about creating that space.

So you can shift from surviving or striving…
to something more grounded, intentional, and sustainable.

Hello, I’m Renee. Owner & founder of Empower GRIT.

I’m a real person with a wide range of life and work experiences—mother, wife, daughter, mentor, employee, business owner, and people leader.

I’ve lived through pressure, complexity, and change. I’ve spent years learning how to make sense of it—not just mentally, but physically and emotionally.

I’ve created Empower GRIT as a way to share that perspective with you.

Not as a guru or clinician—but as someone who has done the work, asked the hard questions, and explored what actually helps when life feels heavy, overwhelming, or unclear.

Think of me as the friend who gives honest, grounded advice—and the mentor who helps you see what you couldn’t quite name on your own.

My perspective is shaped by real experience—trauma, stress, health challenges, loss, and rebuilding.

I’ve explored many different modalities and approaches, and like many people, I never found just one that fully fit.

That’s why this work isn’t about following a single method.
It’s about helping you find what works for you.

I bring a mix of analytical thinking, lived experience, and curiosity across multiple approaches to our conversations and trainings, with emphasis on nervous system regulation techniques.

I’m not a doctor or licensed therapist.
